ARGUMENTO:
Serie sobre el mito del Rey Arturo. Siglo V. Décadas de brutales guerras entre las tribus han dejado a Britania dividida en varios territorios enfrentados, donde las vidas son fugaces y la violencia es la norma.
Las tensiones se acentúan entre paganos y cristianos, y el rey supremo, Uther Pendragón, lucha de forma errada por unir a todas las facciones para hacer frente a la peor amenaza: los sajones.
Sus esperanzas residen en alianzas inestables con pueblos traicioneros, así como en su nuevo heredero: el recién nacido príncipe Mordred. Pero, según los presagios de Merlín, el niño podría traer consigo la ruina del reino.
Es entonces cuando Merlín desafía al monarca y decide ir en busca de Arturo, su hijo bastardo desterrado ocho años atrás y el único capaz de unificar bajo su mando a las tribus contra los sajones.
